This is one of the rare movies that has the topic of cybercrime. But, don’t think that the cybercrime in this movie is about fraud, virus, or any cybercrime you can think of. It’s about murder using the internet as the media.

The story is about a mad but brilliant young man, who kills people in cruel ways. He opens a website, and the more people logged in to his website, the faster the victim dies. Like in a scene, he put his victim in a pool of water, and there was an acid liquid ready to be dropped into the pool. The acid liquid drops slowly, but as the visitor to his website increases, the faster the acid liquid drops, killing the victim.

The killer is being hunted by FBI Agent Jennifer Marsh (Diane Lane), a cybercrime specialist. But even she can’t trace the killer, just like the title, untraceable. And in the end, Jennifer became the victim. Will she survive? Will the killer be caught? You should see the movie yourself :D

Personally, I expected more from this movie. I expected sophisticated internet technologies while hunting the killer down. But no, nothing really special about the technology. It’s just like other movies, except that the killer uses the internet as his killing tool. And one more thing I like about this movie, hmm.. yes, the beautiful Diane Lane :D
