Microsoft has launched Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1. Compared to previous versions, there are no significant changes, just some features that add its user friendliness.
It now has a Getting Started Center for beginners. It shows how to do an initial set up on your mobile phone, from how to set up your email and your bluetooth headset.
For Mobile Messaging users, it has some helpful features. The Threaded Text Messaging makes it easier for you to read / use all the messages you receive. While the Fetch Mail for POP3 / IMAP feature makes it easy for you to set your POP3 / IMAP email accounts (such as Gmail or Yahoo Mail).
The Internet Explorer Mobile is equipped with Zoom Support, to change the text size, just like Internet Explorer and other browsers on your desktop PC. Another useful feature for connectivity, is the Auto Pairing feature to make the bluetooth setting much easier.
