The Messengers Movie Review

Pang Brothers go to Hollywood! That’s the first impression I had when I first knew that this movie was directed by them. If you don’t know yet, Pang Brothers are popular in asia for their terrifying horror movies. Yes, I’ve seen them, and I think they’re good.

The story begins when a family try to make a new life. They move into a small city, and plant sunflowers. It turns out that there had been a murder in the house on the land they bought. The victims were a boy and his mother. People thoght they weren’t killed, but moved out of town without telling anyone.

So, the mother and the boy’s ghosts haunt them. And you can also see some other conflicts in the family, but I’m not going to talk about it. In the end, the ghosts’ efforts are successful. They manage to give the message to the family, and brought their killer to justice by themselves.

For me, The Messengers is different than other Pang Brothers’ horror movies. It’s not terrifying enough. And the actors didn’t act really good. I think they didn’t show how afraid they were. But I still like it because of the beautiful Kristen Stewart who acted good I’ll just give it 2 out of 5 stars.
