As you can see in the DVD cover, this movie is about a dog. But is it only about a dog? No, it’s not. I’m not a fan of movies about animal. And if I don’t see Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston as the casts, I won’t even see it.
This is the story of John, Jenny, and Marley the dog. John and Jenny was just married and they move into a new town. For a birthday present, John gave Jenny a puppy, which then named Marley by John. Surprisingly, Marley is very naughty, yet very cute and adorable. Problems arise when John and Jenny have kids. The story flows until they grow older and have 3 kids, which means Marley gets older too.
For me, Marley and Me is a very good movie. Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston play their role excellently. They look like just real husband and wife. Although I think there are some parts of the movie that doesn’t correlate with the whole picture, it’s still worth seeing.
It’s romantic, it’s comedy, but it’s not an ordinary romantic comedy movie.
